Many conventional mouse traps are easily triggered from all directions. This can be a problem if the trap is set up in an unfavorable way, because if the animal steps on the trigger from the side, it will also be hit from the side of the impact bar. However, less force acts here than at the end of the bracket and the animal is only injured instead of killed. It can also happen that the rodent enters the trap from the wrong side and therefore does not trigger it at all. Emptied traps are the result.
The GARDIGO Mousetrap ‘precision’ is different: its bait container is closed and designed in such a way that it is much easier to open from the front than from the side. The rodent sits in the right position and the impact bar can strike with its full power.
The bait compartment is suitable for both fixed and spreadable baits. Our insider tip among mouse baits: chocolate and hazelnut spread. Mice are crazy about it.
We recommend setting up the traps against the wall, because this is where the rodents usually run along because they feel protected. Setting up two traps next to each other has also proven useful in order to catch mice coming from both directions.
Thanks to the handle on the impact bar, the trap can be hygienically emptied without having to touch the trapped animal. You can also simply rinse the trap with water for repeated use against mice. Because the trap is made of plastic, it is easy to clean.
