The lumber from which our "Made in Germany" products are made is usually purchased from a sawmill in Germany. Deforestation is not a threat here. In addition, a high quality of wood and processing is guaranteed.

Sustainability certificates for wood are important, but not always the most climate-friendly option. Our supplier can purchase spruce wood locally. Timber with a certificate, on the other hand, often has to be sourced from Scandinavia, as only a few forests in Germany are certified.
