Marten Protection Based on the Electric Fence Principle
A painful (yet essentially harmless) electric shock, following the principle of an electric fence, is not easily forgotten by the animal. The contact modules are installed in such a way that the marten must touch them when entering the engine compartment.
Additional deterrence is provided by the bright LED strobe light, which flashes as soon as the high-voltage shock is triggered. The high-frequency sounds emitted by the device every 22 seconds make staying in the engine bay uncomfortable, as the animals have sensitive hearing. The device uses frequency modulation technology, meaning the pitch changes. This prevents habituation, as it’s difficult to become accustomed to a changing sound. The tones extend into the ultrasonic range.
Connection to the Car Battery
The marten repeller is connected directly to the car battery for a reliable power supply. To protect the battery, the integrated vibration sensor automatically switches off the device as soon as the vehicle starts moving. Alternatively, in vehicles with a CAN/BUS system, the marten repeller can be connected to terminal 15, so that it automatically deactivates when the ignition is turned on.
Battery-Saving Auto Shut-Off
If the battery voltage drops below 11V, the automatic shut-off feature kicks in to prevent deep discharge.

Es funktioniert
Es funktionieren. Ich werde nochmal kaufen, um sie in den wärmeren Monaten draußen zu benutzen, damit sie nicht in die Nähe unseres Eingangs kommen.
