This handy set not only includes four Gardigo Vole Traps, but also accessories which will make setting the traps much easier. With this set you may start fighting your vole problem right away.

The probe, a metal rod with a handle, is pushed into the ground in order to search for vole tunnels. In spots where it is easy to stick into the ground at first, but then with bigger resistance, chances are good that there is a vole tunnel hidden underground.

Here you may dig a hole by using the included bulb planter tool. The traps will fit exactly into holes. Make sure to place the traps with the openings facing in the direction of the tunnel. Voles coming from either direction can be caught.

In case a draft of air or light gets into its tunnel, the vole will dig earth into the direction of the opening in order to close it. This is why it is absolutely necessary to cover the gap between the trap and the earth with leaves. Alternatively you may simply put a bucket over the trap.

Tension the trap by holding it with one hand and pulling the handle upwards with the other hand.

The position of the handle will tell you whether the trap has triggered or not, without even pulling it out of the ground.

Gerne wieder kaufen

Wir hatten sowohl Wühlmäuse, als auch Maulwürfe in unserem Garten. Nachdem die Falle ca. 2 Wochen an unterschiedlichen Stellen in unserem Garten platziert war, haben wir zuerst eine Wühlmaus und ein paar Tage später sogar einen Maulwurf gefangen. Alles in allem können wir die Falle jedem Leid geplagten Gartenbesitzer empfehlen und würden sie jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Sehr gut

Ich stand ein bisschen im Konkurrenzkampf mit meinem Nachbarn, der diese herkömmlichen Metallbügelfallen direkt am Haufen genutzt hat. Seine Fallen waren immer nur mit Erde zugeschoben.

Bin begeistert

Haben uns an die Anleitung gehalten und ca. 30 cm vor dem Erdhaufen mit dem Stanzer ein Loch bis runter zum Gang gemacht und dann die Falle reingestellt. Da die Tierchen eine feine Nase haben, musste wohl der Geruch des Meschen (anfassen) die Falle verraten haben.. Dabei darauf geachtet, dass die Falle am unteren Teil nicht mehr von Menschenhand angefasst wurde. Nach 2 Tagen hatte die Falle (erst) ausgelöst. Und siehe da, das Tier war drin. Durch den Nackenschlag war es gleich tot.

Einfache zu bedienen

Fazit: Die Falle selbst ist einfach zu bedienen und effektiv. Man sieht schon von Weitem, ob die Falle ausgelöst hat. Der Ausstanzer aus Kunststoff ist etwas labil, wenn man durch eine dichtbewurzelte Grasnabe durch muss.
