Repel Cats with Ultrasound
The GARDIGO Dog & Cat Repellent is an electronic deterrent device that uses ultrasound to gently drive animals away. Ultrasound refers to sound frequencies so high that humans cannot hear them—but bothersome four-legged visitors certainly can.
Keeping cats away—or being safe from the neighbor’s dogs—is often no easy task.
The Problems
Do animal visitors leave smelly droppings in your garden? Dogs and cats are the most popular pets and are generally welcome in gardens and homes. However, there are places where they need to be kept out—especially when they are not your own animals.
The GARDIGO Solution
Our product disturbs nuisance animals without harming them. They will avoid the area being sonically targeted because over time, the high frequencies become unpleasant to them, prompting them to leave.
Practical Features
A built-in infrared motion sensor detects when an animal is nearby and activates the ultrasonic tones. This prevents continuous noise emission and reduces the chance of animals becoming accustomed to the sound. The modern alternating frequency technology supports this effect. Thanks to its weatherproof ABS housing, the device is perfectly suited for outdoor use.
Power Supply
The unit operates on standard AA batteries (sold separately). For indoor use, it can also be powered by a power adapter (sold separately).
Installation
The device should be mounted between ankle and knee height. Suitable mounting hardware for wall installation is included. An optional angled wall bracket is available for mounting the device at a greater height.
