To prevent cats from reaching nesting boxes or nests of songbirds, they shouldn’t be able to climb up the trees. The Gardigo Cat Tree Barrier is designed for this very purpose.

Even though the spikes look martial: They are just an obstacle, to prevent tree climbing.

The wire elements are put together before usage. This allows you to adjust the length to your individual needs. For larger tree diameters the the belt can be expanded by using additional sets.
