Real predator sounds + flash light
As birds react particularly well to sounds which humans can hear as well, eagle cries are also used as a bird control measure around airports. With the Gardigo Solar Scare Crow we are making use of this trait. The device uses three adjustable sounds to scare birds: dog bark, an eagle’s cry or a gun shot. By switching between sounds every now and then you may prevent a habituation effect.
The output volume of the device can be set with a rotary control: soft for residential areas, loud for the use on fields or plantations, e.g. in winegrowing.
The device has a night mode, in which only the bright LED flash lights are in use.
The batteries inside are charged by the solar panel and can easily be replaced if needed. In case of bad weather, it’s also possible to charge it with an external power adaptor (not included).
With the included earth spike it can simply be driven into any lawn. Alternatively you may use it in a flower pot.
